A night of style and glamour to help children in need in the Algarve

ACCA, the Algarve children in need charity, and the Conrad Algarve join forces once again to present "Casablanca Night", an evening of style and glamour in aid of children in need in the Algarve. Giving back done with aplomb.

Of all the gin joints and all the resorts, in all the Algarve, the Conrad Algarve is the perfect host for an evening of "Casablanca" magic. On Saturday 2nd September, the resort will don its party clothes and channel 1940's sultry glamour with an end of summer party to raise funds for local children in need. A worthy cause at any time, ACCA representative Wanda Crawford said “We are currently in the middle of a huge back-to-school campaign to provide needy children with books, backpacks and all other relevant school essentials" and "Casablanca Night" is vital to that effort.

The Conrad Algarve's lush gardens and pools are a beautiful setting for the evening that features wonderful music from "The Suprema" who bring high energy and incredible vocals and choreography to their performance - a mix of jazz, soul, rhythm and blues, and Bruno Mariano performing classic favourites from Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday. There will be cameo appearances by "movie stars" from Holywood's golden age, although Sam may not be playing it again. After dinner the party continues with DJ and dancing and a cash bar for drinks.

The begining of the beautiful friendship between ACCA and Conrad Algarve, in Quinta do Lago, dates from 2013 and the resort has hosted themed summer parties in aid of local children each year since, raising thousands and helping to make some children's lives better.

The event starts at 7.30pm with a welcome cocktail and canapés by the pool followed by a five-course menu with drinks included.
