Bovino Restaurant is a sumptuous steakhouse set in the luxury resort of Quinta do Lago. Serving supreme quality beef from around the world, in a setting that beautifully combines contemporary and traditional touches, Bovino delivers an exceptional steakhouse experience.

Bovino occupies a prime spot within Quinta do Lago resort, overlooking the lake and the Ria Formosa Natural Park. A recent addition to Quinta's restaurant line up, Bovino is housed in what was the original farmhouse building, back when the resort was just a dream, not yet a reality, and is next door the renewed and renovated Casa Velha restaurant. With a nod to its rich history, the décor at Bovino, under the expert guidance of Lázaro Rosa-Violan, marries traditional elements such as Portuguese calçada (cobbles) and tiles with modern urban elements to create a luminous and rich dining space, both inside and outside on the spacious patios. With unbeatable views across Quinta do Lago resort, al fresco dining here is quite unique.

The beautiful, eclectic décor is a feast for the eyes and sets the mood for the exceptional food that is served at Bovino. Tender, succulent beef from Uruguay, Argentina, USA and Australia, dry-aged for 28 days, cooked with care and served with flair is what Bovino is all about. Choose your favourite cut - fillet, T-bone, Ribeye or a Chateaubriand to share....add the perfect sauce, your favourite sides, and enjoy.

The focus at Bovino is on beef, but not exclusively so. The menu also features baby back ribs, burgers, lamg, a selection of fish and seafood and some vegetarian options. Special mention for the fresh, local Ria Formosa oysters. The wine list at Bovino is on par with the excellent food, offering some of the finest Portuguese and international wines.

Given its superb location, décor and food, and with a capacity for over 400 people, Bovino is an excellent venue for weddings and events.

Throughout the year, Bovino welcomes you to celebrate special days, with fabulous offerings for Christmas, New Year's Eve, Easter, and the best of summer living.
During the summer months, the Sunday Brunches at Bovino are the highlight of the week. While the adults enjoy the sumptuous food, junior visitors have a special play area complete with bouncy castles and a team of fun engineers to keep them entertained.
