Description
Starting just outside the main entrance of the Algarve University Campus, at Gambelas village, be ready to walk into the woods with amplified hearing at the break of dawn (a pair of binoculars may prove useful but are not considered essential and will not be provided) or just before dusk (where a torch will be required but not provided). Wandering through the woods, we will reach two to three different soudscapes and organize strategic stops where we can socialise and or behold wildlife presenting itself in sounds. This way we are likely to encounter pine tree woods, cork tree woods, temporary natural ponds, inland sand cliffs and swamp areas, covering an approximate distance of 6km in approximately 3 hours.Includes

- This activity will take place all-year round, except for when rain and wind above 12Kn is expected. You will need to be fit enough for medium level trekking. Light torch is advisable regardless of the tour being at dusk or dawn (dawn tours should start before the sky gets bright enough to light the ground). Sunscreen and hat are only required for the dawn tours.
