Portisub is a long established diving club in Portimão. With over 400 members, the club offers organized dives and dive courses, an air-filling station and equipment rental. Portisub is a training centre and a meeting point for divers and all those passionate about the underwater world.
Learn to Dive
PortiSub offers scuba diving and free diving courses certified by the Portuguese Federation of Underwater Activities (FPAS) and the Portuguese Navy as well as PADI courses. Over the years, the club has trained hundreds of divers, many of whom went on to become part of the Algarve diving community.
Diving Experiences
The club organizes regular dive trips along the Algarve coast, exploring reefs, marine life, and underwater archaeology sites such as the Arade River. PortiSub creates a safe and friendly environment to enjoy the ocean.
Portisub is also involved in researching and registering new diving sites in the Algarve and in the organisation of excursions and diving holidays on the Algarve coast. Additionally, the club can help you obtain professional equipment or arrange for technical maintenance for diving equipment.
