Enjoy live Fado performances every Sunday at the Lota in Portimão, the old fish auction site. Each Sunday from 9:30pm, the haunting sounds of Fado fill the air. Free entry.
Lcoated by the River Arade, and close to what is known as the old bridge, the site for the concerts is the recently renovated old fish acution site - the Lota, now the tourism information centre and hoem to exhibitions and cultural events.
From 31st Aug. to 10th Oct. 2025 there are regular Fado performances for all to enjoy.
