New Year's Eve in Portimão! Join the fun in Portimão for two nights of music plus the big party with fireworks to mark the start of 2026. Fireworks in Portimão, Praia da Rocha and Alvor. Free entry to the biggest party of the year.

New Year celebrations in Portimão run from 30th to 31st December. Each evening there are free concerts at Portimão Riverside, from 10:00pm

Here's the party line-up for this year:
30/12 - Revenge of the 2000's! with Luciana Abreu
31/12 - 'Morangos com Açucar' The Concert - nostalgia and music from a much loved Portuguese soap opera, with special guests Edmundo Vieira and Paulo Vintém from “D’zrt”, Diana Monteiro of “Just Girls”, FF, Luke d’Eça of “4Taste”.

And at midnight there will be spectacular fireworks with the main display in Portimão by the riverside area. Praia da Rocha and Alvor will also have fireworks.

Entrance is FREE.
