Rolha Wine Bar
Portuguese Wines in Porches
Wine bars often try to be hip and cool. Not Rolha. Rolha is more about soul. It's about keeping faith with portuguese traditions and flavours. It's about taking pride in sharing the best of Portuguese wines, food and hospitality, in an ancient building with deep roots in the community. And it's about slaking the modern travellers thirst for something a little different.

The wines can be paired with some typical Portuguese 'petiscos' - the Portuguese version of tapas - everything from local grown olives to platters of cheese and charcuterie.
Rolha Wine Bar is set in the village of Porches, which although small, punches above it's weight in the wine and food stakes. The village is a picturesque cluster of narrow cobbled streets. The thick white-washed walls of Rolha that are hundreds of years old aren't just atmospheric - they keep the bar cool during the hot summer months and cosy during the winter.
Rolha Wine Bar is open every day during the summer months from 4pm to 1am, and open from Wednesday to Sunday from October to March.
Group wine tasting can be arranged on request and the wine can also be bought and shipped at Rolha.
