Description
The day begins with a van pickup from a predetermined location in the Lagos area. Based on wind, tides, and swell size, the instructor selects the most suitable surf spot for learning.
After arriving, you'll collect your gear from the van and put on wetsuits on the beach. The session starts with a warm-up, an introduction to beach and ocean conditions, surfboard basics, and safety guidelines.
You will practice techniques and pop-ups on the sand before entering the water to apply what you’ve learned. The session lasts approximately 2.5 hours and includes warm-up, safety briefing, wetsuit, surfboard, and beach transfer within Lagos.
You are guaranteed to catch waves during this first surf session.

Important Information
- Bring a backpack to carry water, snacks, and your phone, keeping your hands free to carry the surfboard.
- Bring a towel, swimsuit, and apply sunscreen before arriving.
- Bring a dry change of clothes or swimsuit for the return journey to keep car seats dry.
- Please be on time for pickup as the driver collects other participants.
