SITA Carnival Alvor - Soul in the Algarve Street Party

SITA Carnival - Soul in the Algarve street party is the biggest party of the year in Alvor. The Carnival is the highlight of Soul in the Algarve week, with soul music lovers dressing up in colourful costumes, taking to the streets to sing and dance for hours! Free entry and great fun.

The Carnival is how the Soul in the Algarve attendees say Thank You to Alvor for welcoming them to the village. It's fun and good humoured and a great way to bring the locals and the visitors together in a celebration of good times and great sounds. 

The Carnvival kicks off at 3pm (or thereabouts) on Sunday 13th May and continues for as many hours as energy allows. 
Local restaurants will be extremely busy that day so advance booking is advised if you stay for dinner in Alvor.



Soul in the Algarve has been bringing music loves to Alvor for over 10 years. A week long event from 9th to 16th May, that features beach parties, DJs live music sessions and the now famous Carnival.

Every May, 700 Soul Music Lovers from the UK & rest of the world travel to the Algarve to join in this fantastic Soul Music holiday that is Soul in the Algarve (SITA).
