Exchange what you no longer want for what you need! On the first Saturday of the month, exchange clothes and items you no longer use for things you actually need. Promoting sustainability, the Exchange Market is simple and effective. Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 15:00h.

Hosted by MAR Shopping, the Exchange Market is a simple idea that promotes sustainability and gives a longer useful life to products that are in good condition but perhaps are no longer their original owners first love.

Here's how it works:

➡️ You can bring up to 10 items to exchange at the market (clothing, footwear, accessories and books). It is of extreme importance that everything you deliver is in good condition, otherwise we won't be able to accept it. Clothes with holes, pilling or with lack of buttons will not be accepted.

➡️ Bring only clothes from the season in which we are at the moment.

➡️ When entering the market, go to the check-in table, the team of volunteers will check if the items are in good condition and give you a ticket with that same number of items.

➡️ There is a minimum donation of €1 which must be delivered at the check-in area.

➡️ Explore the market, take what you need. You can bring books to the market and take clothes, or vice versa.

➡️ When you're done, head to the checkout table, where the items you take will be counted and deducted from your influencers market ticket.

➡️ If you don't exchange all the items you took, don't worry! We'll give you a ticket indicating the number of items you're entitled to so that you can use it in another market (in any location!).

MAR Shopping is one of the very best shopping centres in the Algarve, home to your favourite brands, a great food court and state-of-the-art cinemas. It is pet-friendly, has a great outside play area for kids as well as a mini-golf course.
