The centre brings high street fashion brands and favourites like Starbucks to the Algarve as well as providing a locale for events, concerts and local activities, plus there's a food court that goes beyond the usual options, fun for the kids at Lego Fan Factory, even fun for your four-legged friends at Woof Land.

With 85 shops, 25 restaurants and 8.000 sqm of outside leisure areas, Mar Shopping aims to be one of the very best shopping malls in Europe. An IKEA Centre (and with an adjacent IKEA store), Mar Shopping is home to the largest Primark in Portugal (4.500sqm), the first Starbucks in the Algarve and state-of-the-art cinemas that are 100% laser (the first in Portugal) for a high quality and immersive cinema experience. There is also a supervised play area for children - the Lego Fan Factory - where parents can leave the kids to have fun while they do the shopping, as well as a pay-to-play mini-golf course in the grounds by the main entrance. There's a large food court that goes beyond the usual options, offering top quality dining experiences at very accessible prices by leading Portuguese chefs.

An indoor shopping centre, which offers relief from the hot summer sun, as well as fun to do when it rains, the lighting and atmosphere at MAR Shopping has been very carefully created so as to provide an ambience that is easy on the senses and on the environment. Local Algarve plants and bushes decorate the inside and outside of the centre, Portuguese tiles bedeck the walls, solar panels and water consumption controls along with LED lighting work to keep the centre's eco footprint down. There are even solar phone chargers available for your use.

The outside leisure area has play areas for children with tunnels and hideaways (check out the video below!), water features and plenty of seating for a few moments of relaxation. There is a mini golf course, for some friendly competition.  Open air concerts are held at the centre too as well as special sessions at the cinemas, with live streams of concerts and performances from around the world, such as ballet and opera performances from Russia and the UK. There are regular fun days at the centre with children's activities online every Sunday, and lots of events throughout the year.

The Designer Outlet Algarve is adjacent to Mar Shopping and between the two there is a wonderful outside area with seating, water features, and lots of space for younger visitors to let off some energy. 

MAR Shopping is a pet-friendly shopping centre. And it is also home to Woof land - a pet-sitting area for your four-legged friends.

MAR Shopping is open daily from 10 am to 11pm (midnight at weekends). 

MAR Shopping services include a collection point for online shopping deliveries wtih CTT Lockers and a Drop & Shop facility for bikers, where they can leave their helmets and equipment while shopping. 

There is a free co-working area at MAR Shopping. The workstation is ideal for working and meeting clients.
