Century of the Seas - an exhibition of hand-molded stoneware clay sculptures

Tara and Sylvain Bongard invite you to the opening of their latest exhibition in Lagos.

The exhibition features a collection of hand-molded stoneware clay sculptures; a mixture of individual pieces and joint works which express man's relationship with the sea, its life and destruction.

The exhibition, which opens on 30th August and runs until 28th December, will take place across the Fortaleza entrance, courtyard and inner rooms. 

What the artists say about themselves
''With a profound appreciation for nature above all, we enjoy integrating the local wildlife and fauna into our clay pieces. We both work on our individual sculptures but also enjoy combining ideas into projects and exhibitions. In 2014-2015 we held our last major exhibition at the National Tile Museum in Lisbon.Our work is exhibited annually in Lisbon and Spain.''
