Limite Zero Cross Border Zip Line

Looking for something very different to do? Want something new to brag about? Limite Zero has just the thing. A state of the art zip line that crosses the Spanish-Portuguese border, bringing its passengers flying across the Guadiana river from Sanlucar de Guadiana on the Spanish side to Alcoutim on the Portuguese side. Not only do you zip through borders, you get to time travel too, landing in Portugal before you took off in Spain!
The 720 metre zip line starts on the hillside near to the Sanlucar castle. Users are brought by off-road jeep to the departure platform where they don their harness and helmets. As you leave Spain behind you have the birds eye views - literally - of the beautiful Guadiana and the white-washed village of Alcoutim. You have to look fast though - users reach speeds of up to 80 kph as the line crosses the Guadiana and enters Portuguese airspace. Landing in Portugal, in a different time zone, there is a 5 minute walk back to the Alcoutim jetty where a ferry takes you back across the river to Sanlucar.
