Paesano Restaurant is sister restaurant to the fantastically popular Vagabondo restaurant in Alvor. With so many years experience in cooking great food and taking good care of their clients, Paesano is a huge success with visitors to this lovely Algarve village.
The restaurant is much more than the regular pizza and pasta fare. The menu is extensive with a great variety of meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan and yes, pizza and pasta dishes. You can find all your favourite dishes as well as some more original options. The pasta is all made at Paesano, and again, you have plenty of options, including gluten free and vegan options. There is a children's menu available too, as well as a special menu of cocktails for children.
However much you enjoy your meal at Paesano, leave room for dessert. All home-made they are totally delicious. You can count on favourites such as Tiramisu, Panna Cotta, home-made almond tarte or the outrageously delicious Nutella Brownie and of course, Italian ice-cream!
Paesano Restaurant is on the main pedestrian street in Alvor, leading down to the harbour. The terraces, one on street level, the other, a roof terrace, are perfect for people watching. There is a lovely, sheltered courtyard towards the back of the restaurant for lazy summer meals. Paesano has a modern and stylish decor in warm, welcoming tones and the staff take very good care of their customers. Together with the great food, this makes Paesano one of the best Italian restaurants around.
