Algarve Smooth Jazz Festival 2018

Smooth Jazz returns to VILA VITA Parc from 16th to 21st October. Jazz lovers can enjoy the Algarve Smooth Jazz festival with live concerts from top musicians in the stunning setting of VILA VITA Parc, award winning Algarve luxury resort and spa.

VILA VITA Parc, in collaboration with Smooth Entertainment, brings fabulous jazz artists together to perform on one Algarve stage over 6 days of amazing concerts and music sessions.

Headlining the list of artists is the renowned guitar player and Grammy winner Norman Brown and the 4-time Best Guitarist of the Year Peter White that will be returning to the Algarve Smooth Jazz Festival for the second time, following his performance in the 2016 edition.

Jeff Lorber Fusion, led by pianist Jeff Lorber, which has won a Grammy earlier this year, will be one of the other big names at the Festival, as well as guitarist Marc Antoine, winner of several Best Artist of the Year awards and saxophone players Paul Taylor, known for its mix of funk and sensuality, and Michael Lington, with 9 solo albums and a background as a sideman to several world-renowned artists such as Michael Bolton, Barry Manilow or Bobby Caldwell.



The Festival will also feature more recent jazz artists such as the saxophone player and Jazztrax Artist of the Year 2015 Rocco Ventrella, trumpet player Lin Rountree, and the young Lindsey Webster, Billboard’s magazine Artist of the Year 2016 & 2017 and, along with Sade, one of the only 2 female vocalists to reach the top of the Billboard Jazz Chart (2016 for 4 weeks and 2017 for 2 weeks).

The festival offers a range of ticket options. Attendees can opt for daily packages to attend the live performances and post concert chill-out sessions only, or enjoy some excellent food served at VILA VITA Parc restaurants at pre-concert dinners and visit some of the most popular destinations in the Algarve.

There are also Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum options available, which include accommodation at VILA VITA Parc or at other official partner hotels.
