Local accommodation tip

If you’re staying in the Algarve outside the height of summer, try booking a place in Tavira. It’s quieter and feels more like a true Portuguese town than some of the bigger tourist hubs. Locals really appreciate the peaceful streets and the riverside cafes. Plus, accommodation here often feels a bit more spacious and less rushed. When you walk around, you’ll notice the authentic markets and local restaurants, which makes your stay feel much more relaxed and connected to the community.
