Casa do Monte’s central location means that it’s the perfect base for exploring the region or for accessing the wealth of local facilities and entertainment. Located less than half an hour’s drive from the Algarve’s Faro Airport, Casa do Monte is close to the typical Algarvean village of Boliqueime and about 10 minutes’ drive to the centre of Vilamoura, with its many bars, restaurants, shops, sports facilities and award-winning marina. Some of Europe’s best golf courses are just five minutes’ drive from the villa and some of the finest beaches on the Algarve coast are no more than 3km away. Cycling is a great way to see the area and is highly recommended – the villa managers can give you details of local bike hire companies.
Casa do Monte can accommodate up to 28 people and guests can opt to be self-catering or to have catering provided, making it the perfect destination for a family holiday, a getaway for a group of friends, or to mark a special celebration such as a wedding, birthday or anniversary. The location and layout of Casa do Monte also makes it an ideal venue for corporate hospitality, workshops, training and other business events – the possibilities are endless!

The villa has 11 air-conditioned bedrooms, all with en-suites. There is a good-sized home-from-home kitchen and a restful living area, which opens onto a beautiful terrace. If you’re visiting in the cooler months, an aromatic wood fire will keep you cosy and warm and if you value a little private time, many of the guest rooms have their own terraces and kitchenettes. What’s more, there’s satellite TV, a music system, darts board, table tennis, free internet access and a fax line for guests use.
Casa do Monte welcomes guests of all ages and you’ll find that the villa has been designed to be child-friendly. There are baby beds available and the pool can be fenced off if you have concerns about safety.
Step outside the villa and the surroundings are stunning – take a stroll around the immaculate gardens, enjoy a game of tennis or petanca, soak up the sun around the pool, or laze on the grass under the shade of a palm tree – the choice is yours.
