Welcome to Carrapateira Horse Riding Tour – 1 hour
A fabulous way to get to know the area. After a briefing and introductions to your horse and guide, you explore the Atlantic coastline, right next to the beach, with stunning vistas across the ocean from the cliff-tops. Trek through the dunes and enjoy the wonderful nature that surrounds you.

Bordeira Beach Sunset or Sunrise Horse Riding – 2 hours
A little bit of magic! This tour takes you through tranquil stands of pine trees and countryside, before reaching the dunes by Bordeira beach. Feel the power of your horse as you cross the dunes and head to the beach and shore to witness the magic of a seaside sunset.

Picadero Kids - Horse Riding for Children - 30 minutes
Perfect for young novice riders. This is a one-on-one experience - one horse, one rider, one guide. Most children are fascinated by horses and this is a super introduction to these majestic animals, and includes tips and basic lessons.

The Costa Vicentina Natural Park covers over 74,000 hectares of rolling hills, marshland, imposing cliffs, rocky coves and broad beaches. Declared a protected area in 1995, the park has a hugely rich fauna and flora that varies according to proximity to the ocean. No fewer than 750 species of flora have been identified in the park - 12 of which are unique in the world. Seaweed alone accounts for 460 different species! Over 200 different species of birds have been spotted in the park. The cliffs are a favourite stopping off point for migrating birds and an ideal nesting ground. All these factors have made the Costa Vicentina of immense interest to all Nature lovers.
