Michelin Star! Bon Bon Restaurant was awarded its first Michelin Star in November 2015 and has retained the star each year.
Located near to the Algarve resort of Carvoeiro and the fishing village of Ferragudo, Bon Bon is a sensory delight in all aspects. The spacious summer terrace has wonderful panoramic views of the Monchique hills with perfect views of the amazing sunsets and the circular dining room is spacious and airy with a fabulous central fireplace, making Bon Bon Restaurant an ideal venue, winter and summer.
Since March 2013, Bon Bon Restaurant is under the management of Nuno Diogo. Nuno is well known for his passion for fine food and wines, for his commitment to the highest standards of service, and for his welcoming hospitality. Bon Bon Restaurant with sister restaurant O Leão de Porches, form a Gourmet Triangle that brings excellent dining to the Western Algarve.
At Bon Bon the cuisine is a sophisticated Mediterranean cuisine with a respectful nod to traditional Portuguese flavours. The menu draws on the best seasonal produce and gives a modern and original interpretation to present beautifully crafted dishes. Passion, imagination and technique work in tandem to produce dishes that are exquisite to see and to taste.
Open for dinner only, the à la carte menu is changed according to the seasons and there is a Chef's Recommendation each day. The Bon Bon tasting menu is exceptional. Nuno and his team are on hand to advise and help guide your choices, and there is an extensive wine list and wine pairing options.
While the food and service are of the highest standard at Bon Bon Restaurant, the hospitality is too. The ambience is relaxed and welcoming and Nuno and his team are more than happy to share their knowledge and enjoyment of good food and wine.
Bon Bon is open for dinner every evening except Wednesday and is open for lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
