The Black Anchor bar, or the Irish Bar as it is simply known has a beautiful location on the banks of the river Gilão, in Tavira, one of the most scenic and charming towns in the Algarve.
Housed in a lovely old building  and with outside seating overlooking the river, sipping a drink in the sunshine at the Black Anchor is definitely a moment to be enjoyed. 

The bar is open every day and has a full bar food menu. All your favorite drinks are here, which you can enjoy while watching the latest sport, or catching up online - there's free wi-fi here.
