Description

Explore the iconic Benagil Caves and the Algarve’s Golden Coast aboard a sustainable electric catamaran, offering a quieter, more comfortable, and eco-friendly experience. The journey departs from Portimão Marina and follows the coast, passing golden cliffs, hidden coves, wild beaches, and remarkable rock formations.

The tour includes visits to several sea caves including Smugglers Cave, Pirate Cave, Guardian Cave, Alfanzina Cave, and the famous Benagil Cave. Along the route, you will also see the village of Carvoeiro and the distinctive rock formations of Algar Seco.

The crew provides local stories and insights in English and Portuguese, adding context to the natural sights. The silent electric engine eliminates noise, fuel smell, and emissions, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere on board.

The boat is specifically designed for comfort, featuring lounge-style seating, an onboard bar offering drinks and snacks, a sun deck, and a toilet. There is no requirement to wear lifejackets throughout the tour, allowing passengers to move freely.

Return trips include onboard music, presenting the coastline from a new perspective. Summer daytime tours also include a swim stop; bring a towel and swimsuit if you wish to swim.

Important Information

• From June to September, bring a towel and swimsuit for the swim stop (not available on Sunset tours)
• Only water and food for young children are allowed onboard; bar options are available
• Pets are not permitted
• Baby strollers and wheelchairs are not allowed; small babies can be carried in an “Egg” seat without wheels
• Suitable for pregnant women without high-risk pregnancies or near due date
• If prone to seasickness, take preventative medication at least 30 minutes before the tour and avoid heavy meals and excessive drinks
• Smoking is only allowed at the rear of the boat with crew permission
• Bring the mobile phone used during booking for communication if needed
