Description
Join me, Brodie on a walking tour of Lagos. Learn about the city's history and culture as you stroll through the old town. Meet me outside Jah Shaka surf shop, (Rua Candido dos Reis 112) and set off on a walking tour of Lagos. Along the way, you'll learn about the Great Earthquake, the Caravel, Transatlantic Slave Trade, Prince Henry, Dom Sebastiao, and much more. The walk will take us through the old town, along the Avenida dos Discombrimentos and finish above the gorgeous Praia da Batata.
On this walk, you'll hear great Portuguese stories of the past, learn about Portuguese food and drink, and even learn more than 1000 words in Portuguese. After the tour you'll receive a message containing my tips for your stay in Lagos, including 10 of my favourite restaurants, places of interest, and possible itineraries for your stay. During our market visit we'll get a little taste of Portuguese and I finish the walk with a sweet Portuguese biscuit ´Lingua de Veado´.
I hope to meet you and give you a great introduction to Lagos. Cheers Brodie
