Description

An epic quad biking journey through scenic villages, rugged trails, and historic landmarks. For those who crave adventure but are short on time, our Algarve Explorer Half Day Tour is the perfect way to experience the beauty of the Algarve in just three hours! We begin with a full guidance and safety briefing to ensure everyone is comfortable and confident on their quad bike before setting off. Once ready, we embark on a thrilling ride through quiet country lanes, winding dirt tracks, and charming villages, soaking in the breathtaking scenery along the way. Departing from Moinho do Leitão, a traditional windmill, we navigate our way to a small local farm, where we’ll learn about Algarve’s aromatic herbs and spices, taste refreshing homemade tea and honey, and meet some friendly goats. Continuing the adventure, we ascend into the mountains, riding through picturesque landscapes and local farmlands, before arriving in Alte – one of the most beautiful villages in the Algarve. Here, we take a well-deserved break to enjoy a refreshing cold drink, coffee, or even a delicious ice cream, while soaking in the charm of this remarkable village. In the summertime, there’s the option to take a refreshing swim in Alte’s freshwater spring pool – a local favourite. In the winter, we visit the nearby waterfall, a stunning natural spot perfect for photos. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or a nature lover, the Algarve Explorer Half Day Tour is the perfect way to experience the Algarve’s best sights and landscapes in just a few exciting hours! Whilst there are a couple of stops, there is tonnes of quad biking in between! NOTE: Tour route may change due to weather conditions, group preferences and riding abilities.

Important Information

• It is mandatory that you present a valid driver's license (provisional or learner licenses are not allowed) along with a passport or ID card
• The weight limit per quad is 253lbs (160kgs)
• Tour route may change due to weather conditions, group preferences, and riding abilities
• Participants can ride in pairs on 1 quad: 1 driver and 1 passenger. You can take turns driving the quad if you both hold a valid car driving license. To add a 2nd driver, there is a €15 surcharge, which can be paid on arrival.
• A refundable €200 security deposit has to be provided at the beginning of the tour. It will not be refunded if safety and conduct rules were not followed or damage is caused o the vehicle due to negligence or irresponsible driving. Or you can opt for our 10 Euro per driver damage insurance instead.
