Description

Learn to surf in Albufeira with expert local instructors on one of the Algarve’s most stunning beaches. Perfect for beginners and families, this surf lesson combines safety, fun, and the thrill of catching your first wave. All equipment is included—surfboard, wetsuit, and insurance—so you can simply enjoy the experience. With small groups and personalized coaching, you’ll quickly improve your skills and discover why surfing in the Algarve is one of the top things to do in Albufeira. How It Works: Meet us at our surf school, located in the Galé Beach car park, 15 minutes before your lesson starts. We'll get you fully equipped with a wetsuit and surfboard, and there's a safe place to leave your belongings. From there, it’s just a 5-minute walk to the beach. We’ll start with a short warm-up (around 5 minutes), then jump into the basics of surfing. First, you’ll learn how to catch waves. We’ll spend about 20 minutes in the water practicing this technique. Once you're comfortable, we’ll move on to the next step: how to stand up on the board. We'll do a quick practice on the sand before heading back into the water. You’re welcome to catch as many waves as you like during the session. Our friendly and experienced instructors are always nearby to give you feedback and help you improve. After the lesson, we’ll return to the surf school to drop off the equipment and collect your belongings. Showers and restrooms are available nearby at local shops and restaurants. We may not be the cheapest surf school around—but we’re the ones who can make your surf dream come true. Whether it’s your first time or you’re looking to level up, we’re here to make sure you ride waves with confidence and joy. To top it off, join us for a well-deserved drink at Zimzala Surf Café, just a 1-minute walk from our school. It’s the perfect place to relax, share surf stories, and soak in the local surf vibe.
