Located on spacious grounds in the countryside between Portimão and Monchique, Dog Hotel Algarve covers 30.000sqm. There are secure green areas, a small lake and plenty of space for the excellent kennels. Each dog has his own 10m private box or kennel, each with an indoor, insulated area as well as an outdoor patio area. The kennels even have air conditioning and ambient music. While each dog usually has his own kennel, if you’re leaving more than one dog at the hotel, they can stay together, enjoying a family holiday.
The grounds at Dog Hotel Algarve are ample. The spacious green areas are for fun, games and the twice daily walks. And as no holiday in the Algarve would be complete without the chance for a refreshing swim, there is even a small lake on the grounds – a favourite with doggie visitors.
Aside from the great accommodation for dogs, a stay at Dog Hotel Algarve can also help with your pet’s socialization with other dogs and the surrounding world. Knowing too that owners will worry while away from their pets, the team take regular photos of their guests to send to the owners, letting them see for themselves just how much fun their furry friends are having. Like any good hotel, the Dog Hotel Algarve also has a grooming service, so that guests leave the hotel relaxed, happy and looking gorgeous – just as we all like to be at the end of our holidays.
There are also twice weekly obedience classes, training and socialization classes available at the hotel, for guests and non-guests.
It’s not all about dogs at the dog hotel. There is an adjacent Cat Hotel where feline friends get to enjoy a stay too.

Grooming
On site grooming service - bathing, brushing, hygienic shearing and nail cutting. All of these services are available to dogs not staying at the hotel.
Classes
Obedience, dog control and socialization classes – enhancing your relationship with your dog, and his relationship with the world.
Transport
Dog Hotel Algarve has a transport service in a specialized vehicle to collect and return the dogs to their owners, if required.
