The Brasserie
With Belgian and Dutch roots, a love of travel and good food, owners Paul and Kristien wanted to bring the intimate bistro ambience allied with international dishes using local ingredients, to the Algarve. Service is always friendly and accommodating at The Brasserie, going above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Guests can enjoy a pre-dinner drink and take their time perusing the menu, with Kristien on hand to help with suggestions and take note of preferences.
The food at The Brasserie is a fusion of flavours and inspirations. There is a fabulous Tuna Tartare with a sweet and sour salad with yuzu dressing, home-made cheese croquettes, slow-cooked pork cheeks, fresh seabass, Chateaubriand and even The Brasserie’s own take on chicken piri-piri, as well as vegan and vegetarian options. Everything at The Brasserie is made in-house – from the cured meats and salmon to smoked cheeses, all the desserts, including ice-cream. Flavour is everything here, and combined with lovely atmosphere, a meal at The Brasserie is to be savoured on many levels.
Aside from the wine list, with a great range of Portuguese wines, The Brasserie is proud to offer a fabulous array of beers and ales from around the world, an excellent selection of Belgian beers, gluten-free beers and ciders available by the bottle.
The Brasserie offers a take-away service that allows you to enjoy their great flavours at home. The dishes are freshly prepared and vacuum sealed – just reheat to enjoy.
