The Ocean Quest is an 18m, custom-built catamaran that operates from Vilamoura marina. Passionate about the sea, the beauty of the Algarve and its rich traditions, the Ocean Quest team shares their knowledge and enthusiasm with all those who come aboard. There is a marine biologist on board to help identify the seabirds and sea life you see, including dolphins, who love playing by the Ocean Quest hull. Sunsets at sea are always special, and on board the Ocean Quest they are even more so, with live music and mellow DJ sessions to ease day into night. The Ocean Quest Algarve experience is relaxed and happy - perfect for families and groups of friends.

In addition to the catamaran, Ocean Quest has a speed boat and luxury yachts available for private charter. Perfect for small groups, this is a great way to explore the coast and to treat yourself to a fun and relaxing sea experience. For a shot of adrenaline, opt for the Parasailing experience, sailing high above the sea with fabulous views of the coast.

Departing from Vilamoura marina, Ocean Quest Algarve offers a range of trips and sea experiences for you to enjoy. Highlights include:

Benagil Cave - 3.5 hours duration
A spectacular journey along the Algarve coast to explore the amazing caves and magnificent rock formations that nature has carved over thousands of years, including the famous Benagil cave, the sea arches at Praia da Marina, and the fascinating coves and rock shapes that dot the coast. During the cruise, you get to sample some of locally produced and traditional Algarve sweet treats and liqueurs. Includes a welcome drink and time for a swim (conditions permitting).

Benagil Sunset – 3.5 – 4 hours duration
The magic of Benagil and sunset at sea! A fabulous trip with a relaxed vibe where you can enjoy the stunning scenery, see the amazing caves and watch nature’s daily light show as the sun sets. Includes a welcome drink and swimming stop (conditions permitting).

Dolphin Quest 2 - 2.5hrs duration
A fabulous cruise where you sail out to sea in search of dolphins in the wild! The marina biologist on board will tell you what to look out for and share insights about these mesmerizing creatures, as well as other marine life along the Algarve coast. Ocean Quest partners with A.I.M.M (marine environmental research association) a non-government and non-profit organisation dedicated to the research and conservation of marine species and ecosystems. Ocean Quest has the quality seal for whale & dolphin watching. 50 cents of each adult ticket reverts to A.I.M.M

Sunset Vibes 2.5hrs
The perfect end to another sunny Algarve day! With live music or DJ on board and a fully stocked bar, the atmosphere is chilled and mellow. Enjoy the scenery and sea breeze, with a cocktail in hand, as the sun sinks below the horizon. Includes a welcome drink.

Private Charters
Ocean Quest has a range of luxury yachts and a speed boat available for private charter, for full day, half day and sunset cruises. A stylish and fun day at sea, perfect for groups of friends and family outings.

Parasailing
Fly high with Ocean Quest's parasailing adventure. The best views are from above. Individual, double or triple parasailing is available with approximately 10 minutes in the air. The boat is also available for private charter with a range of fun water sports - ringo, waterski and wakeboard.

The Ocean Quest Algarve is available for private hire for parties, weddings, celebrations and events. The catamaran offers sun and shade areas, bar, WC, music system and wi-fi on board. Events can be catered and a bespoke itinerary created.
