Golf Courses Golf Courses Silves Golf Pestana Golf Resort - a scenic 18 hole, par 70 course in the Algarve countryside, surrounded by orange and lemon groves, olive trees and birdsong. Challenging but lovely.

Inaugurated in 2006 this is one of the Pestana groups recent golf courses in the Algarve. Silves Golf is located close to the atmospheric and historical town of Silves, famous for its ancient, red-hued castle and fabulous annual Medieval Festival. As with all Pestana golf courses, the course is in excellent condition and provides hours of enjoyable yet challenging golf.

A par 70, the course is designed to test your hitting quality and direction. Low handicap players will find the course sufficiently challenging to come in under par while higher handicap players will relish the chance to take on a stimulating course.

With the Monchique mountains in the background, and surrounded by neighbouring orange groves, the course itself is dotted with palm trees and olive groves, making for a very scenic and portuguese course.
