Silves, the capital of the Algarve during Moorish rule, is a town steeped in history. O Cais is located right by the waterfront, overlooking the roman bridge. You can relax on the pavement terrace and watch the ebb and flow of the river as you sip a cold beer or fresh juice, or sample some of the freshly prepared dishes. Upstairs there is a cosy lounge - the perfect spot for a quiet coffee or drink.
