Marking World Alzheimer’s Day, Alzheimer Portugal – Algarve Branch invites the community to take part in the Passeio da Memória, a 5 km charity walk in Portimão raising awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and supporting the work of Alzheimer Portugal.
Participants will meet at 9:00 at the Zona Ribeirinha de Portimão, next to the Antiga Lota, for registration and a warm-up before setting off.
The route follows the riverside towards Portimão Marina before returning to the starting point, covering approximately 5 km.
More than just a walk, the Passeio da Memória is an opportunity to combine physical activity, community and solidarity, while helping raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease.
Registration
Participation is available with a minimum donation of €5, which includes a kit with a T-shirt, water and information materials. Children aged 12 and under participate free of charge.
