Description
First, you will meet your private surfing instructor at the surf school, where you’ll be welcomed and introduced to the equipment. After choosing your wetsuit and board, we’ll head down to the golden sandy beach for a short safety briefing and warm-up session by the sea. You’ll begin learning the fundamentals of surfing, starting with how to position yourself on the board and practicing the pop-up technique on the sand. Once you’ve mastered the basics, it’s time to take to the water! For the next hour, your instructor will guide you step by step as you practice paddling, standing up, and finding your balance on the waves. With personalized one-on-one coaching, you’ll progress at your own pace and feel the thrill of riding your first wave to the shore. Thanks to the Algarve’s long beach and waist-height waves, conditions are perfect for beginners and intermediates to enjoy a safe and fun surf session.
