Description
End your day in the Algarve in the best possible way — with a surf session during sunset.
Your surf experience begins with our van picking you up at a predetermined meeting point in the Lagos area. For the Sunset Surf Session, the pick-up is usually between 15:00 and 16:00, depending on the beach selected, tides, swell, wind conditions and daily logistics. The exact pick-up time will always be confirmed via WhatsApp before the activity.
Because surfing depends completely on nature, we choose the surf spot according to the conditions of the day. Depending on the wind, tide and swell size, we will take you to the beach that offers the safest and best conditions for learning and having fun. Our goal is always to find the right waves for your level, so you can enjoy the experience with confidence.
After arriving at the surf spot, we will collect the equipment from the van and head to the sand to get ready. You will receive your wetsuit and surfboard, and our instructors will help you choose the right equipment according to your height, weight and experience level.
Before going into the water, the session starts on the beach with a warm-up and a full introduction to the surf spot, ocean conditions, safety rules, surf equipment and basic surfing techniques. We will explain how to position yourself on the board, how to paddle, how to catch waves and how to perform the pop-up. You will practise everything first on the sand, so you feel more confident before entering the water.
Then it is time to go surfing. Our instructors will be in the water with you, helping you choose the right waves, correcting your technique and supporting you throughout the session. Whether it is your first time surfing or you have already tried before, we will adapt the lesson to your level and make sure you have a safe, fun and memorable experience.
Surfing at sunset is a very special moment. The light is softer, the atmosphere is more relaxed, and it is one of the most beautiful ways to enjoy the Algarve coast. It is the perfect option for those who want to spend the morning exploring Lagos and finish the day with an unforgettable ocean experience.
Our Sunset Surf Session includes 2h30 of surf activity, including warm-up, safety briefing, surf instruction, wetsuit and surfboard. Beach transfer is included if you are staying in the Lagos area.

Important Information
- Please bring a backpack so you can take your water, snack and phone to the beach, having this way hands free to take the board. Towel, a swiming suit and apply suncream before leaving home and a changing of swimsuit to go in the car after the lesson so the seats dont get wet. Please be on time as we do have to pick up more people and we do not want to be late on anyone
