Away from the beaches and the most touristy areas, this tour takes you into the heart of the region, where you'll discover authentic traditions, natural landscapes and a much more laid-back pace.

The experience begins with pickup in Olhão, heading towards São Brás de Alportel, a village linked to the tradition of cork. Here, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about this iconic Portuguese product, with a stop at a local factory and shop (except on Saturdays, when they are closed).

Next, we'll visit Loulé, where you'll explore its famous traditional market (in the morning), one of the most authentic in the Algarve. You'll also get to explore the historic old town, including the castle area.

The trip continues to Fonte Grande, one of the most beautiful natural spots in the Algarve's inland area. On the hottest days, you can take a dip in the natural waters or simply enjoy the tranquility of the place. Here, we also include a tasting of regional products.

Next, we'll head to the picturesque village of Alte, one of the most typical in the region. Here, you'll have some free time to relax, have a coffee or try a traditional pastry in a calm and welcoming atmosphere.

Finally, we'll visit Queda do Vigário, a natural waterfall surrounded by greenery, perfect for taking photos, relaxing or cooling off before the return journey.

Throughout the entire tour, the pace is leisurely and relaxed, with several stops to enjoy each place, creating an authentic, comfortable and memorable experience.

At the end, we return to Olhão.

Important Information

• This is a tour of the Algarve's inland area, with several cultural and natural stops. It includes short hikes, so it is important to wear comfortable footwear. The experience takes place at a leisurely pace, ideal for relaxing and enjoying each place Local products tasting included. The visit to the cork factory shop does not take place on Saturdays, as it is closed. Swimming at Fonte Grande is dependent on weather conditions. Loulé Market is visited in the morning (when the shops are open) and also in the afternoon (only for an outside/inside visit, with no stalls open).
