Begin your journey in Benagil, a coastal village known for the world-famous Benagil Cave and its picturesque beach. While entering the cave by foot is not possible, a cliff-top viewpoint offers impressive views of the cave’s distinctive skylight. Optionally, you can book a boat tour for an up-close experience of the cave’s interior, weather permitting and at an additional cost. Kayaking is discouraged due to safety concerns from heavy boat traffic.
Next, visit Algar Seco in Carvoeiro, where coastal trails lead to scenic viewpoints and Boneca Cave ('The Doll’s Cave'), a captivating sea cave within the area.
