This full-day tour starts with a stop at the Benagil Cave viewpoint, a cliff-top location offering panoramic views of the cave’s iconic natural skylight. Note that entry inside the cave is restricted. For a closer look, an optional boat tour (additional cost) is available from Benagil or Portimão, providing sea-level views of Benagil Cave’s interior and nearby areas.
Next, visit Algar Seco near Carvoeiro, an area known for its rugged cliffs and ocean views. Enjoy walking the scenic paths that lead to the Boneca Cave, also called The Doll’s Cave.
Continue to Lagos where you will have free time to explore beaches such as Praia Dona Ana and Praia do Camilo, as well as the cliffs of Ponta da Piedade. Depending on the season, swimming is possible from July through October, but the beaches are enjoyable year-round for relaxing and walking along the coast.
