Description
Depart Faro in an air-conditioned van equipped with USB chargers and a karaoke microphone for a comfortable ride to Lagoa municipality.
The first stop is Benagil, home to the iconic Algar de Benagil sea cave. After a short walk through a fishing village to the Benagil viewpoint, descend to Benagil Beach to begin the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail hike.
During the hike from Benagil to Praia da Marinha, the guide shares insights about the region’s fauna, flora, and geology. Key viewpoints include Benagil Cave, Praia da Corredoura, Elephant Rock, the Mini Canyon, and the Secret Heart of the Seven Valleys.
After the hike, enjoy 1.5 hours of free time at Marinha Beach to relax or explore. Lunch breaks take place during this time; bring your own food if you have dietary restrictions or prefer specific options.
The final stop is Algar Seco, where limestone caves and geological formations offer a glimpse into Portugal’s natural history. The tour ends with an optional cliff jump into the Atlantic Ocean, subject to sea and safety conditions.
