Explore the authentic Portuguese market town of Loule on a guided tuk-tuk tour. Visit the Arabian-inspired indoor market, see the ancient castle, Gothic church, and Loulé's Islamic bath.
Meet your guide and set off on a journey to Loule, passing through orange groves and other agricultural fields, Vilamoura, and Quarteira. First stop at the Chapel and Sanctuary of Nossa Sra da Piedade, where you'll have a panoramic view over Loulé city.
Afterward, descend to the city, park the tuk-tuk, and explore the city on foot. See the ancient castle, Gothic church, and Loulé's Islamic bath. Stroll through the Arabian-inspired indoor market with stalls of fresh produce and regional handcrafts.
Surrounding the market are busy shopping streets, tree-lined plazas, and a warren of alleys, which have barely altered since the medieval period. On Saturday mornings, two additional markets are held in town, the farmer's and the Gypsy market.
If time permits on the return, stop at the famous Falesia beach.
