Description
On a leisurely stroll, perfect for taking the best photos, we walk through the village and among the pools of water in the Fuseta Salt Pans, where salt comes to life.
Get your camera ready: when the weather is cooler and twilight paints the horizon, this tour is an invitation to slow down, contemplate nature and capture unique photos in untouched places where the land merges with salt and water.
When conditions allow, we are often treated to the elegance of pink flamingos and the graceful flight of other seabirds that find refuge and food here. As they live in total freedom, their presence is common but never guaranteed – a beautiful reminder that wildlife cannot be programmed and is therefore so magical and unpredictable.
In addition to observing the wildlife and the salt-making tradition, we share memories held in the hearts of the village's inhabitants: a moving story of resilience led by the women of Fuseta, with unwavering courage, which still leaves its mark on the landscape today.
Few visitors know what happened here, the strength of these women who ran the community and made a historic event happen in this place, while the men braved the uncertainty of the sea.
Come and breathe in the fresh air, enjoy the silence of the lagoon, and gather unique memories and photos while discovering the most authentic and profound soul of this wonderful village.
