Description
Begin at Quinta da Ria Golf Resort and follow coastal paths to Cacela Velha, a historic village perched above the Ria Formosa lagoon. It features whitewashed houses, a small church, and views over the Atlantic Ocean, sandy islands, and salt marshes.
Continue inland along quiet country roads and gravel tracks towards Pego do Inferno, a natural waterfall surrounded by olive groves, fig trees, and almond orchards. This area offers a peaceful contrast to the coastal scenery.
The return route passes through Cabanas de Tavira, a waterfront village known for colorful fishing boats and lagoon views. Ride along the waterfront and protected landscapes of Ria Formosa before returning to Quinta da Ria.
