Description
Ponta da Piedade will be your first visit. This most delightful small cape near Lagos is an absolute must when in the Algarve. See the picturesque lighthouse, mini chapels, and rock formations. This is what the Algarve is all about! It is here that your guide will inform you in detail about the programme of the day, and of course you will have free time to take the best photos of this wonderful spot.
From there you drive into the Natural Park of Costa Vicentina. This magnificent park protects over 200km of coastline and you will explore the southwestern part of it, with free time in a small fishermen’s village, a guided visit to remains of the 15th century defensive line, a guided visit to a stunning beach of geological value and the opportunity to take a swim in the Atlantic, if the weather allows it.
In the afternoon, another must-do will be checked off of your list: Cape St. Vincent, also called 'the End of the World', because of its steep cliffs, surrounded by the ocean, and often strong winds. You will have free time to enjoy this most southwestern point of Europe.
To end on a high note, we will take you to one last breathtaking panoramic viewpoint.
