Discover surfing in the Algarve at Praia do Barranco das Belharucas, a beautiful beach set between the cliffs near Falésia Beach and Olhos d’Água in Albufeira. With clear water and wave conditions that suit both first-timers and returning surfers, Belharucas Surf Experience is an ideal place to build confidence and have fun in the ocean.
Your 2-hour lesson is led by certified instructors who adapt the session to your level—whether you’re learning the basics (safety, paddling, balance, and your first stand-up) or refining technique with feedback tailored to your goals. You’ll practice on the sand first, then head into the water to apply what you’ve learned with continuous guidance.
All essential equipment is provided, including a surfboard and wetsuit, so you can focus on enjoying the session. Lessons run daily with multiple start times, and groups stay small for a more personal feel.
