Luis, an Alvor local, along with his Irish wife and family, built up the business - the first to offer boat trips from Alvor back in 1997. Now Luis and the team, using their customised tourist boats, have grown Alvor Boat Trips into a well respected tourism boat business with a reputation for top quality, personalized boat trips along the coast and up the Arade River. Their boat trips are fun, informative and good value.

With a fleet of boats, there is a range of trips available every day with Alvor Boat Trips. Early morning fishing trips (Luis and crew have been fishing these waters for generations), romantic sunset cruises, fun family outings along the coast, as well as the popular cruise to the magnificent Benagil Cave and trips out to sea to search for dolphins in the wild. The service is always personal and flexible and you can join others on one of the regular trips or even reserve the whole boat just for your own group. Advance booking is recommended, particularly for high season.
