The Vila Vita Fine Wines & Food Fair opens on 5th May and promises a week of unsurpassable gastronomy and heavenly cuisine, paired with the finest wines to be found on our planet. 

The Fine Wines & Food Fair only happens once every two years and is almost certainly Europe’s, if not the world's, most anticipated culinary extravaganza. It's not just the food that's amazing. Five star VILA VITA Parc is set amid expansive and lush gardens, perched by the Algarve coast and with magnificent ocean views.

A biennial event, the fair brings together world class chefs, wine makers and gourmet producers. The uniqueness of the Fine Wines and Food Fair lies in the proximity of chefs and guests, where they come face to face in a celebration of flavours, skill and a shared passion.

Over the duration of the Fair there are several exclusive dinner experiences hosted by the world famous chefs, culminating in the spectacular Kitchen Party where chefs and guests mingle and enjoy the amazing creations.




Over the years, over 60 award-winning chefs from the Michelin Guide, San Pellegrino’s 50 Best Restaurants in the World, Gault et Millau and the OAD survey list, as well as top winemakers and a variety of partners and sponsors showcasing food, wine, spirits, champagne, cocktails and cigars, have participated in this unique event. 

The 2019 edition will feature new additions to its programme, making it an even more interesting and engaging event for chefs, producers and guests alike.

The 9-day programme will include a series of exclusive gourmet dinners in VILA VITA Parc’s two-Michelin star Ocean Restaurant and fine dining restaurant Atlântico, prepared by different guest chefs on each evening, for a restricted audience of 30-80 food and wine lovers.

The themes of the dinners will vary with 6 dinners (6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 13 May) hosted by international Michelin Star and Gault Millau guest chefs, complemented by amuse-bouches prepared by none other than Ocean’s Chef, Hans Neuner.

The exceptional Kitchen Party - the centre stage of the programme - will take place on Saturday 11 May 2019, featuring renowned international guest chefs and winemakers from around the world, and catering to over 500 guests.

One of the new additions to this year’s programme is a traditional Portuguese Assado (barbecue) taking place at the Herdade dos Grous, the resort’s own farm and vineyard located in the Alentejo, on 5 May - the first day of the Fine Wines & Food Fair. During the week, wine aficionados will also have the chance to join in extraordinary masterclass workshops with some of the most renowned winemakers in the world.
