Medusis Club is ready for battle - a Sushi Battle! The battle to find the best sushi dish begins at Medusis Club and it's a must for sushi lovers, as guests and a panel of experts get to decide the winner!
Selected sushi masters will each have one hour to prepare a single sushi dish that reflects themselves, their cuisine and their restaurant. All ingredients must be sourced from the same local supermarket and within the given budget. Each chef will present their offering to be judged for taste, presentation and creativity by both a panel of experts and the live audience. The top three voted dishes will earn their masters a place to compete against the winners of the Lisbon and Porto regional battles at Portugal’s grand final in August 2019.
Honour and glory will be up for grabs as the winners go head-to-head to see whose sushi will reign supreme.… The Experience Guests will arrive to a welcome drink or Japanese tea and then take the unique opportunity to engage and interact with the sushi chefs as they prepare their dishes around the stunning pool area. The 10 sushi dishes will then be served one by one to the guests in the indoor dining area – with each guest voting for their favourite.
Accompanying the sushi entries will be wine and dessert from Medusis. As the votes are counted, guests can enjoy a drink at the bar - as the chefs anxiously await the announcement of the Sushi Battle winner!
