Summer Lunch Dates at Casa de Mondo

Chef Sergio, who is working in a two star Michelin restaurant right here in the Algarve, will be creating three glorious lunches, on three separate dates, at the stunning Casa de Mondo.

Feast on Sergio's gastronomic delights, sip on a chilled glass of wine and enjoy the tranquil oasis of Casa de Mondo. Accompanying the amazing food created by Sergio will be the outstanding wines from Adega do Cantor, as Casa do Mondo has partnered with this top Algarve winery especially for these Summer Lunches.

About Chef Sergio
Sergio trained in a fine star hotel in Barcelona before returning to Portugal, where he worked for a while. He then moved to London and worked in a one Michelin star restaurant for a year. He returned again to Portugal, before hot footing it to Copenhagen where he worked at ‘Noma’ which has been nominated the best restaurant in the world several times.
Heading back to London he went to work with Ollie Dabbous where, after just eight months, they were awarded one Michelin star and won best newcomer restaurant in the UK.
Wanting to head back to the sun, Sergio returned once more to Portugal, where he now works in a two Michelin star restaurant as a chef de partie.

About Casa de Mondo
Casa de Mondo is an oasis of leafy calm in the Algarve hills, a wonderfully intimate and unique venue, perfect for weddings, parties and celebrations. These special lunches by Chef Sergio can be enjoyed on the sun dappled terrace at Casa de Mondo, surrounded by flowers and birdsong, as well as some of the amazing artworks created by Mondo. Cooking courses at Casa de Mondo
Casa de Mondo hosts regular cooking courses too, guided by Chef Jonathon Cloake. There are five day and one day courses available. The five day course is a residential course, where you get to discover the fabulous Algarve produce markets, rich in fresh, delicious fruit, vegetables and seafood as well as learning different world cusines. The courses are hands-on and all participants enjoy meals, wine and conversation together.
