Promenade Concerts return this February to take you to to the Opera!

The Orquestra Clássica do Sul (OCS) presents another edition of Promenade Concerts, a cycle of concerts for all the family, that aim to engage the youngest members of the audience.

'Let's go to the Opera!' is the theme of this year's first concert, which invites the audience to explore the world of opera and the relationship between Music and Words. In this show, conducted by Rui Baeta, stories, adventures and misadventures will be told with a lot of imagination!

The first concert will be performed in Évora and the second and third concerts will take place in the Algarve, in Faro and Lagoa respectively. Courtesy of the organisers and sponsors of the Promenade 2019 Concerts (LIVE Music, PORTIMÚSICA and FNAC Évora stores), each municipality will hold a lotter, with several prizes for lucky winners!.

PROGRAMME

  • 3rd February - 4pm - The Teatro Garcia de Resende, Évora,
  • 10th February - 12 noon -  Teatro das Figuras, Faro, 
  • 10th February - 4.30pm - Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, Lagoa,
