Golf stars gather for the Portugal leg of the 2018 European Tour

The Portugal Masters, a popular event on the European Tour, returns to the Algarve in September to see Lucas Bjerregaard playing to defend the title.

The Portugal Masters 2018 will be held at Dom Pedro Victoria Clube de Golfe in Vilamoura. This will be the last tournament before Europe and the USA meet for the Ryder Cup near in France.

Chosen for the outstanding quality of its golf courses and tourism infrastructure, Portugal joined the European Tour as hosts in 2007 and the first Portugal Masters was played. The Algarve’s Dom Pedro Victoria Clube de Golfe (previously Oceânico Victoria Golf Course) has been selected successively as the venue for this prestigious event, which is now in its 12th year.
