'Oceano para que te quero' - I care about the ocean - an event to celebrate World Oceans Day at Zoomarine, Albufeira.
Around 130 participantes from schools in Alte and Benafim will be at Zoomarine on 8th June to mark the day.
Students from the schools have taken part in several activities in the classroom and on the riverbank over the past few months, to raise awareness of the ODS - Sustainable Development Objectives, especially those that are more directly related to the preservation of the oceans, importance of water or environmental sustainability and the need to change personal attitudes.
The entire school community and all visitors are invited to wear something sea-blue on the 8th to support the event.
The event is an initiative of the Europe Direct Algarve Centre in partnership with the APA - Volunteer for Water and the C Viva Algarve Centre with the collaboration of the educational teams of Zoomarine, EPALTE, EB1 of Alte and Benafim and Centro Apoio a Criança de Alte and the support of CMLoulé and Alte's parish council.
