MAR Shopping Algarve - Fartoon: Cartoon exhibition, from 20th to 7th July 2020. Enjoy the 3rd edition of this exhibition, organized by Faro 1540.
Organized by Faro 1540, the 3rd edition of Fartoon: Mostra de Cartoons de Faro aims to raise awareness for new talents, as well as to promote this form of communication while, at the same time, try to raise awareness for migration in contemporary society — 'Europe and the Migratory Phenomenon”.
With this theme, participants were asked to explore not only the classic view of migration, but particularly the way in which this phenomenon is increasingly originated by wars, religious, racial prejudice and climate change.
This year, the organization registered a huge influx of participants, the largest ever, which reached 250 works from 21 countries, with 35 finalist works selected. Get to know them at MAR, next to the Mango store!
The exhibition can be enjoyed everyday from 20th July to 7th August at MAR Shopping Algarve.
