The British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (BPCC) is pleased to announce the next Business Breakfast in the Algarve: “Work and new technologies – friends or enemies?” by Cláudia Vaz Póvoa, Partner at EDGE International Lawyers.

Nowadays, new technologies offer a wide range of opportunities and several flexible working solutions both to companies and their employees. However, as the work environment becomes more flexible, the employment relationship grows ever more complex, not only due to the increasing lack of control over the job by the employer, but also due to several privacy issues that may arise in the use of information.

BPCC's May Business Breakfast in Vilamoura aims to weigh up the advantages and disadvantages of the use of new technologies at work, and will also provide some solutions that are already established legally.

The session will allow BPCC members ample time to discuss these and other questions they might have, but also to share their experiences and learn from each other. As usual there will also be plenty of time during and after the session for our members to network and engage with the speaker on matters of interest.
